*WORKSHOP* Macro Synthetic Fiber Reinforced High Performance Self-Consolidating Concrete

Workshop Venue: August 28, 2025, Bismarck, ND
Address: Materials & Research 300 Airport Rd, Bismarck, ND, 58504
Parking is on-site.

SPONSORS:

(NDRM & CPA)

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This technology transfer workshop aims to spark interest in concrete technology that uses fiber-reinforced high-performance self-consolidating concrete (FR-HP-SCC) techniques. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how to solve issues where non-segregating mixes can be placed without vibration. Applications include tight spacing around rebar, hard-to-reach areas, durable and strong low W/C construction without segregation, better surface aesthetics, cost savings in construction, and improved overall consolidation. Projects commonly using this type of FR-HP-SCC mixture include pavements, water tanks, bridge abutments and decks, building floors and columns, precast, cast-in-place/tilt-up, and heavily reinforced RC sections. Participants will also learn about the standard mix design process for FR-HP-SCC concrete and practical construction methods.

PDH CREDIT: This workshop complies with the rules set by the North Dakota State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors and should qualify for official PDH credit. PDH certification forms will be provided to all attendees.
