The North Dakota Ready Mix & Concrete Products Association’s premier annual event is our Annual Convention. Our annual convention hosts both the annual NDRM&CPA board meeting, as well as the joint North Dakota Concrete Council board meeting, fun night, tech day, and the prestigious Gold Star Award Banquet.
The annual convention is hosted annually by our current Board of Directors President. For 2027, President Chad Clapper of Knife River Corporation is hosting the banquet at the BSC National Energy Center of Excellence (1200 Schaefer Street) on January 13-14, 2027.

Meetings will take place at the National Energy Center of Excellence Building, ATC 301.
*Note* A shuttle will be available for convention attendees between the Hampton Inn & Midway Lanes from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM
All proceeds from Fun Night are donated to the NDRM&CPA Scholarship Fund. Midway Lanes is located at 3327 Memorial Highway, Mandan, ND 58554.
All events on Thursday will be at the National Energy Center of Excellence Bavendick Stateroom on the 3rd Floor.
Through personal stories, lessons learned, and the philosophy behind the Barn Cat Tough mentality, Mr. Aho reflects on the experiences that have shaped his life and leadership journey. Mr. Aho shares how gratitude, resilience, servant leadership, and the pursuit of excellence have influenced the culture of the University of Mary Wrestling program, and how these principals can help others lead, serve, and grow through life’s challenges.
Adam Aho was named Head Wrestling Coach at the University of Mary in June 2013 and enters his 14th season leading the Marauders wrestling program. Since taking over the program, Aho has coached 27 National Qualifiers, 18 All-Americans, and guided two different Marauders to NCAA national titles at 133 pounds in consecutive seasons (2025 and 2026), a first in program history. Under his leadership, the Marauders have also achieved outstanding academic success, producing 91 NCAA Division II Men’s Scholar All-Americans and earning five top-10 finishes in the NCAA Division II Men’s Team Scholar All-America standings.

The North Dakota Ready Mix & Concrete Products Association and the North Dakota Chapter, Inc. – American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) are once again looking to recognize architects, engineers, contractors, owners and concrete producers for Excellence in Concrete for projects that demonstrate innovation, craftsmanship, aesthetics and more.
If you have a project worthy of consideration, please read through the following instructions on how to complete and submit your application. Pay particular attention to the submission deadline. Winners will be notified in early December, and the Gold Star Awards Banquet will be held January 14, 2027 at the NDRM&CPA Annual Convention in Bismarck, ND.

The North Dakota Ready Mix & Concrete Products Association’s Ready Mixed Concrete Delivery Professional Driver of the Year Award acknowledges the significant contribution of ready-mixed concrete truck drivers to the growth and success of individual companies and the ready mixed concrete industry. As a salute to these key members of the concrete production and delivery team, the award recognizes the driver’s career achievement, safety, professionalism, competence, and customer service skills in a manner that will enhance the industry and public image of the career Ready Mixed Concrete Delivery Professional.
Nominations can be made by completing the entry form below and providing the required supporting testimonials from supervisor(s) and customers. Nominations must include two high-resolution electronic images of the driver-nominee: one dressed in their normal working attire with their truck, and another full-length photo of the driver in work clothes with the background of your choice. Entries must be received via email to Brian Zuroff at bzuroff@ndconcrete.com with the subject “Driver of the Year Nomination” by December 4th, 2026.

Applications for the 2027 NDRM&CPA Scholarship Program are due Friday, December 4th, 2026. For consideration, please complete the application form below and return it to NDCC Executive Director, Brian Zuroff at bzuroff@ndconcrete.com with the subject “2027 NDRM&CPA Scholarship Application”.
Winners will be announced in late December. Scholarships will be awarded at the NDRM&CPA Annual Convention Awards Ceremony scheduled for January 14th, 2027 in Bismarck, North Dakota. In addition to the $2,000 scholarship, winners will receive a complimentary night at the conference hotel, admittance for them and a guest to the Annual Convention (Fun Night, Tech Day, Awards Banquet), and will be honored during the Awards Ceremony.
